וָאֶשְׁאַל אֹתָהּ וָאֹמַר בַּת־מִי אַתְּ וַתֹּאמֶר בַּת־בְּתוּאֵל בֶּן־נָחוֹר אֲשֶׁר יָֽלְדָה־לּוֹ מִלְכָּה וָאָשִׂם הַנֶּזֶם עַל־אַפָּהּ וְהַצְּמִידִים עַל־יָדֶֽיהָ׃

Interrogavique eam, et dixi: Cujus es filia? Quæ respondit: Filia Bathuelis sum, filii Nachor, quem peperit ei Melcha. Suspendi itaque inaures ad ornandam faciem ejus, et armillas posui in manibus ejus.
Entonces preguntéle, y dije: ¿ De quién eres hija? Y ella respondió: Hija de Bethuel, hijo de Nachôr, que le parió Milca. Entonces púsele un pendiente sobre su nariz, y brazaletes sobre sus manos:
Then I asked her, ‘ Whose daughter are you?’ She replied, ‘ The daughter of Bethuel son of Nahor, whom Milcah bore to him.’ So I put the ring on her nose and the bracelets on her wrists.
