וַתַּהַר עוֹד וַתֵּלֶד בֵּן וַתֹּאמֶר כִּֽי־שָׁמַע יְהוָה כִּֽי־שְׂנוּאָה אָנֹכִי וַיִּתֶּן־לִי גַּם־אֶת־זֶה וַתִּקְרָא שְׁמוֹ שִׁמְעֽוֹן׃

Rursumque concepit et peperit filium, et ait: Quoniam audivit me Dominus haberi contemptui, dedit etiam istum mihi; vocavitque nomen ejus Simeon.
Y concibió otra vez, y parió un hijo, y dijo: Por cuanto oyó Jehová que yo era aborrecida, me ha dado también éste. Y llamó su nombre Simeón.
Again she conceived and gave birth to a son, and she said, “ Because the LORD has heard that I am unloved, He has given me this son as well.” So she named him Simeon.
