וַיֹּאמֶר הֲכִי קָרָא שְׁמוֹ יַעֲקֹב וַֽיַּעְקְבֵנִי זֶה פַעֲמַיִם אֶת־בְּכֹרָתִי לָקָח וְהִנֵּה עַתָּה לָקַח בִּרְכָתִי וַיֹּאמַר הֲלֹא־אָצַלְתָּ לִּי בְּרָכָֽה׃

At ille subjunxit: Juste vocatum est nomen ejus Jacob: supplantavit enim me en altera vice: primogenita mea ante tulit, et nunc secundo surripuit benedictionem meam. Rursumque ad patrem: Numquid non reservasti, ait, et mihi benedictionem?
Y él respondió: Bien llamaron su nombre Jacob, que ya me ha engañado dos veces; alzóse con mi primogenitura, y he aquí ahora ha tomado mi bendición. Y dijo: ¿ No has guardado bendición para mí?
So Esau declared, “ Is he not rightly named Jacob? For he has cheated me twice. He took my birthright, and now he has taken my blessing.” Then he asked, “Haven’t you saved a blessing for me?”
