וְאֶקְחָה פַת־לֶחֶם וְסַעֲדוּ לִבְּכֶם אַחַר תַּעֲבֹרוּ כִּֽי־עַל־כֵּן עֲבַרְתֶּם עַֽל־עַבְדְּכֶם וַיֹּאמְרוּ כֵּן תַּעֲשֶׂה כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבַּֽרְתָּ׃

Ponamque buccellam panis, et confortate cor vestrum: postea transibitis: idcirco enim declinastis ad servum vestrum. Qui dixerunt: Fac ut locutus es.
Y traeré un bocado de pan, y sustentad vuestro corazón; después pasaréis: porque por eso habéis pasado cerca de vuestro siervo. Y ellos dijeron: Haz así como has dicho.
And I will bring a bit of bread so that you may refresh yourselves. This is why you have passed your servant ’s way. After that, you may continue on your way.” “ Yes,” they replied, “ you may do as you have said.”
