Exodus 22:8

אִם־לֹ֤א יִמָּצֵא֙ הַגַּנָּ֔ב וְנִקְרַ֥ב בַּֽעַל־הַבַּ֖יִת אֶל־הָֽאֱלֹהִ֑ים אִם־לֹ֥א שָׁלַ֛ח יָד֖וֹ בִּמְלֶ֥אכֶת רֵעֵֽהוּ׃

ἐὰν δὲ μὴ εὑρεθῇ ὁ κλέψας, προσελεύσεται ὁ κύριος τῆς οἰκίας ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ὀμεῖται, ἦ μὴν μὴ αὐτὸν πεπονηρεῦσθαι ἐφ’ ὅλης τῆς παρακαταθήκης τοῦ πλησίον.

Si el ladrón no se hallare, entonces el dueño de la casa será presentado á los jueces, para ver si ha metido su mano en la hacienda de su prójimo.

If the thief is not found, the owner of the house must appear before the judges to determine whether he has taken his neighbor ’s property.
